Royal Caribbean has unveiled details of its newest Icon-class vessel, which the line says will become the largest cruise ship in the world when it launches next year.
The ship adds an eighth themed neighborhood and expands the existing waterpark with two additional record-length slides. Royal Caribbean says the design reflects lessons learned from its first Icon-class ship, which has consistently sailed at or near full capacity since its debut.
Reservations for the inaugural sailing season open to loyalty members next month.
