Norwegian Cruise Line says it will complete a fleet-wide satellite Wi-Fi upgrade by the end of the year, promising faster and more reliable internet across every ship.
The upgrade replaces aging equipment on several older vessels and standardizes connectivity across the fleet. Norwegian says the change comes in response to guest feedback citing internet speed as a recurring complaint in post-cruise surveys.
The rollout begins with ships sailing longer itineraries, where reliable connectivity has been the most requested improvement.
